I'm Orphicdusk, (They/He) an aspiring comic artist currently taking my A-Levels. I've been drawing and creating art influenced by my interests since the age of 12 and grown to love a lot about the creative process.
Storytelling is something I adore, so the prospect of being able to craft narratives through the media of art and not just words in hopes to captivate audiences as I've been captivated, well there was no way I couldn't pursue this avenue.
I take great inspiration from differing places for both art influence as well as motivation to create what I most enjoy.
This includes, but isn't limited to: music, work by other artists who have a style I admire, comic and manga series, animated movies and shows, horror movies and shows, as well as symbolism within different alternative subcultures that I appreciate or am part of. I place a great focus on characters and their design, enjoying the way a more illustrative style can allow for the exaggeration of features with small details and what these can add to a narrative in the absence of words.
