Welcome, weary traveller, to this little corner of the internet.

I'm orphicdusk, (he/they), a UK illustrator based in Plymouth. I'm currently finishing my second year at Arts University Plymouth. My work focuses on storytelling, whether that’s through comics or character-driven illustrations. I draw inspiration from a range of sources, mainly revolving around my interests. These include, but aren't limited to, various genres of horror, fantasy, alternative music and fashion, and whatever movie or show I currently have on rotation. I enjoy exploring the human experience through inhuman means, balancing concepts of religion, existentialism, and trauma as a whole in the neat bow of metaphors and symbolism that I encourage keen-eyed viewers of my work to spot and notice. Or just hide away in my work for myself.

I enjoy working with a blend of traditional and digital means, a workflow I've developed through the end of my first year of university and have been expanding upon since. I feel like there's a certain inner voice captured through this method, and I enjoy how it reflects most in my comics - take a look for yourself.
